Remember This? . . . Senior Trip Antics

Seventy six enthusiastic seniors walked the streets of D. C. following Ms. Snavely's fast paced lead.  While passing a group of students from another school, one of them asked "Where ya'll from?"  Chilhowie, Virginia was the reply.  This prompted the next obvious question, "where is that?"  One of the more helpful classmates replied, "below Seven Mile Ford."

Remember This? . . . Girl's AG and Mr. St. John

One of the projects was decoupage, which prompted a bus trip to Marion to learn about the materials.  Once inside the store all the girls began calling Mr. St. John "Daddy" and asked him to buy things for them.  He finally just gave up and loaded the girls back on the bus , , , but with a smile on his face.

Remember This? . . . Mrs. Rollins French Class

Mrs. Rollins worked so hard to educate her students and to train them to speak French properly.  No small task, especially when some mispronounced "Oui Oui Monsieur" as "Ooowee Ooowee Monsewer".

Remember This? . . . Another Girls AG and Mr. St. John

Upon arrival for class the girls discovered that. St. John was a little late.  They  thought it would be great fun to hide in the balcony.  Whether the boys in shop enlightened him or he figured it out himself is not known. Upon arrival he began to hurl blocks of wood into the balcony,  just beyond where the giggling girls were crouched out of sight.  They had to scream for him to stop in order to safely go back down the steps and back to class-- mentally noting to never try that again..

    Remember This? . . . Mrs. Farmer's English Class

Remember the day that one of our leading academic students had the nerve to enter Mrs. Farmer's English class as the tardy bell was ringing, even though class had already started as was her habit.  He informed her that she was in the wrong and held his ground.  She actually changed from beginning class two minutes before the tardy bell to beginning after the tardy bell ended.  Not only did he have brains, he had nerve ,  ,  ,  ,  and became a class hero.
